Nautilus Asia Pacific Management (NAPM) is a subsidiary of NAMG which directly negotiates and handles the company’s foreign business ventures through our representative office in Shanghai. The NAPM Shanghai office is expected to be fully operational early in 2005.

NAPM has already successfully established several joint ventures with Chinese corporations in broad development projects. Through our Chinese partners and the high level contacts we have established with both business and governmental leaders, NAPM is well positioned to participate and aid in the fast growing economies of the Asian Pacific Rim.

The demand for asset-based lending overseas currently outstrips the supply, and Nautilus is committed to help fill that need. There are literally thousands of overseas vendors who export manufactured components to major U.S. corporations who need our services to assist them in their cash flow given the long supply chain.

Our business model includes financing exports to China from the US in the fields of energy, specialized motor vehicles, and aerospace. Our company philosophy is such that we seek out business whenever possible that will create jobs in the US. Furthermore, we are intensely interested in improving the world’s environment for the betterment of mankind. Toward that end, China is working toward creating alternative energy sources. NAPM is committed to assisting China in this worthy goal by providing for the financing of alternative sources of energy for example: recycling waste, clean burning fuels, and the conversion of coal to gas.

Shanghai City Hall Meeting with Government Officials

Nautilus had the pleasure of meeting with the Vice Mayor Mr. Tang and the Director General of Foreign Affairs Mr. Yang in Shanghai. The purpose of the meeting was to present a summary of our business plan to the government and to learn how we could assist the government to meet its objectives where the objectives correspond with our business plan. We had a very productive meeting, identified key areas to focus on and follow-up activities.

Having traversed a journey of 55 passionate and fruitful years, the great People's Republic of China is now celebrating her birthday. This evening, millions of jubilant people along the banks of the Huangpu River and a galaxy of distinguished friends here at Shanghai Exhibition Center join in celebrations of our National Day. On behalf of the Shanghai Municipal People's Government, I would like to hereby extend our cordial greetings to the people of Shanghai and to the friends from home and abroad who work and live in this city, and our sincere gratitude to all the comrades and friends who have given us their care and support for the development of Shanghai.

The gloriuos path of 55 years since the founding of New China shows the strong will and great vitality of the Chinese nation. Alongside the take-off of our motherland Shanghai has been developing rapidly. In this dynamic city, the industrious and valiant people of Shanghai are building their beautiful homeland with wisdom and hard work.

Since the start of reform and opening-up, the second and third generations of the central leadership and the new central leadership of the Party have all along shown great care for the development of Shanghai and pointed out the direction for Shanghai's reform and opening-up and modernization drive. This year, under the strong leadership of the Party Central Committee and the State Council, Shanghai has implemented the scientific concept of development in all its endeavors and carried out resolutely, actively, fully and vigorously the central government's policies of regulation and control over the macro-economy and achieved remarkable results. The city's economy has maintained a steady and healthy development; its social endeavors have scored progress across-the-board; the living quality of the people in both the urban district and rural area has continued to improve.
